About us
Our history, how LoiudiceD® was born
LoiudiceD ®
LoiudiceD derives from an idea of its founder Vito Loiudice, who began working in the sector of upholstered furniture in 1982 in a workshop located in Altamura.
In 1989 Vito Loiudice began to create and produce his High Quality sofas in Altamura, directly drawing them to meet the needs of his customers.
Made in Italy, comfort, high quality and craftsmanship are the features that mark the company from its foundation, consolidated and strengthened over time and already projected in the company’s near future.
Between the 80’s and the 90’s LoiudiceD overcame the boundaries of craftsmanship and started designing and making furniture for the large industry. In the mid 90’s the company expanded its sales nationally and began to address itself towards Europe, a market marked by a demand for high-quality upholstered furniture.

High Quality Made in Italy ...
In the following years the company specialized in the production of medium-high items: very refined products in terms of materials and design, intended primarily to meet the aesthetic needs of European consumers. With the creation of a new factory in Altamura, in 1996 Loiudice D extended the range of the models produced giving further impulse to the economy of the area. In 2001 the company opened a “Study Center” with specialized personnel for the design and prototypes.
The following years saw a further company reorganization and new technological innovation efforts, mainly concentrated in the last three years, that have made it highly competitive internationally without ever renouncing to the artisan roots of its production and the strong link with Altamura and its people.
“The underlying theme of our collections has always been the ability to keep a strong identity that can be adapted to different needs and updated.”
